In February 2000 we asked RISC OS users to let us know what printers they were using (and/or would like to use) so that we could ensure that we channel our development efforts into useful areas. We had an overwhelming response, and the distilled results are included below.

While the response to the last request for information was overwhelming (and we are very grateful that people took the time to respond) processing the information sent in was made much harder than it might have been by people either not sending in all the information, not sending accurate information, not sending it in the format requested, or omitting the information entirely in favour of stories about their cat.
To this end, we would ask people to take the extra couple of minutes to ensure that any feedback they send us conforms to the following simple rules:
Manufacturer: [name of manufacturer] Model: [model of printer] PDF: [Exact filename of the PDF you are using] Originator: [Where you got the PDF] Status: [Copyright/Freeware/Your Own Work/Unknown etc] Comments: [Any comments you may have about this Printer with this PDF]
If the PDF is one you have modified yourself and you are happy to see us distribute it (with an accreditation) then please feel free to send us a copy.
If the PDF is one you have produced and you are merely interested in informing the world that such a PDF exists (and hence getting some free advertising) then please send the mail in, but do not include the PDF. We will include it in a future release of the list.
